At the end of January, we took Miki to the vet for vaccination against cat leukemia and cat flu. He was really brave when the doctors drew blood to test if he carries some of the pathogens and can be vaccinated.

We booked Miki a visit to the vet, and the appointment is today. They have to draw some blood, make tests, and hopefully vaccinate him. He won’t be very happy, we know, although he has been a regular patient since they saved his life and knows the doctors really well.

2026 came. Yay! And no, we are not sharing our plans and goals for the new year; it will be such a cliché! Why start making plans from day one?

For the first year, we put a Christmas tree up in our new home since we bought the house. December and Christmas have been many times really hard for us, and we have not always been in a mood to decorate a Christmas tree.

A special delivery day! Miki is expecting a parcel :) - a box full of delicious treats. He always gets excited about boxes, but when the box is full of things that he loves to eat, that's another thing.
