At the end of January, we took Miki to the vet for vaccination against cat leukemia and cat flu. He was really brave when the doctors drew blood to test if he carries some of the pathogens and can be vaccinated.

We booked Miki a visit to the vet, and the appointment is today. They have to draw some blood, make tests, and hopefully vaccinate him. He won’t be very happy, we know, although he has been a regular patient since they saved his life and knows the doctors really well.

This morning someone rang the doorbell. When we opened the door, the postman asked for a signature for a letter he was carrying, and it looked quite suspicious, as the letter was sent by Radio Television of Slovenia. Usually, from our experience, nothing good comes out of letters that require confirmation of receiving! When we opened the letter, we were quite shocked by the info inside!

I am sure most of you cherish memories of Christmas markets and this unique Christmas spirit they carry. We all have lovely memories from such markets, but most of them date back from years ago. Nowadays some Christmas markets are not what they used to be, or maybe the markets did not change - we did and changed them.

2026 came. Yay! And no, we are not sharing our plans and goals for the new year; it will be such a cliché! Why start making plans from day one?
